10 Days Morocco Tour from Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel. If time allows, visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world, and stroll along the Atlantic Corniche. Overnight in Casablanca.

After breakfast, depart for the coastal city of Essaouira, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its relaxed atmosphere and Portuguese-style medina. Visit the Skala de la Ville, watch artisans carve thuya wood, and enjoy fresh seafood at the port. Wander the blue and white streets or relax by the beach. Overnight in Essaouira.

After breakfast, drive inland through argan tree forests (you may see goats climbing trees!) toward Marrakech. Upon arrival, enjoy a free afternoon to explore the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where snake charmers, musicians, and storytellers bring the city to life. Overnight in a riad in Marrakech.

Today, discover Marrakech, known as the “Red City.” Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and Saadian Tombs, then explore the colorful souks filled with crafts and spices. In the afternoon, visit the Majorelle Garden, designed by French artist Jacques Majorelle and restored by Yves Saint Laurent. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.

Depart early through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m). Stop to visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and a backdrop for many films. Continue through Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” before arriving at Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in Dades.

After breakfast, travel to the spectacular Todra Gorges, where cliffs rise dramatically above the river. Continue to the desert town of Merzouga, where you’ll meet your camel caravan and ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunset. Enjoy dinner and spend a magical night in a luxury desert camp under the starry sky with Berber music.

Wake early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then ride camels back to the village for breakfast. Travel north through Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves, then pass Midelt and the cedar forests of Azrou, where you may see wild monkeys. Continue to Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco. Overnight in a traditional riad.

Spend the day exploring Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city. Visit the Royal Palace Gate, Jewish Quarter (Mellah), Bou Inania Madrasa, and Al Quaraouiyine University, the world’s oldest. Walk through the maze-like medina filled with tanneries, artisan workshops, and colorful markets. Overnight in Fes.

After breakfast, drive north through the scenic Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, Morocco’s picturesque blue town. Stroll through the narrow blue-washed alleys, visit the old kasbah, and enjoy panoramic views from the Spanish Mosque at sunset. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

After breakfast, drive back to Casablanca, passing through rolling hills and rural landscapes. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some last-minute sightseeing or shopping before your airport transfer. End of the tour.
