3 Days Tour from Fes to Merzouga Desert

Depart early from Fes and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane, “the Switzerland of Morocco,” and Azrou for the cedar forests and Barbary monkeys.
Continue through Midelt and the Ziz Valley with its palm groves.
Arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon. Take a camel ride into the desert and watch the sunset over the dunes.
Dinner and overnight in a Berber desert camp.

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise in the desert. Return by camel or 4x4 to Merzouga and have breakfast.
Drive to Rissani, visit its traditional souk, then continue to Todra Gorge, famous for its dramatic cliffs.
Proceed to the Dades Valley and explore the scenic landscapes.
Overnight in a hotel or kasbah in Dades.

Depart Dades and drive through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara.
Visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Continue your journey to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass.
Arrive in Marrakech in the evening. End of the tour.
