4 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga Desert

Depart early from Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), admiring stunning landscapes and Berber villages along the way. Stop at the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its architecture and film history.
Continue to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” and travel along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to reach the beautiful Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a charming riad or hotel.

Overnight in Dades Valley (Dinner & Breakfast included)

After breakfast, explore the Todra Gorges, known for their impressive rock walls and palm groves. Continue through Erfoud, famous for fossils and desert landscapes, before reaching Merzouga.
Your camel caravan awaits to take you across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy the sunset and settle into your luxury desert camp, where a traditional dinner, Berber drums, and starlit skies await.

First Night in Merzouga Luxury Camp (Dinner & Breakfast included)

Wake up to the beautiful sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy breakfast in the camp. Spend the day exploring the Merzouga region: visit Khamlia village (known for Gnawa music), meet nomadic families, and discover Erg Chebbi’s panoramic viewpoints. Optionally, try sandboarding or a 4x4 desert tour.
Return to the camp in the afternoon for another camel ride at sunset, followed by dinner and relaxation under the stars.

Second Night in Merzouga Luxury Camp (Dinner & Breakfast included)

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Marrakech. Pass through the Draa Valley, with its palm groves and ancient kasbahs, and enjoy lunch along the way. Continue through Ouarzazate and cross the High Atlas Mountains, arriving in Marrakech in the evening.
