8 Days Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Casablanca airport, you’ll meet your driver and transfer to your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, you may visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque, located on the Atlantic coast, and explore the Corniche area. Overnight in Casablanca.

After breakfast, drive to Rabat, the political capital of Morocco. Visit the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and Oudaya Kasbah, which offers lovely views of the Bou Regreg River. Continue through the Rif Mountains to the charming blue-washed town of Chefchaouen, famous for its peaceful streets and blue architecture. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

Depart Chefchaouen toward the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its mosaics and columns. Then continue to Meknes, where you’ll visit Bab Mansour, El Hedim Square, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Later, arrive in Fes and settle into your riad for the night.

Spend the day exploring Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city and a spiritual center. Visit the Royal Palace, Jewish Quarter (Mellah), Bou Inania Medersa, and the famous Al Quaraouiyine University. Walk through the maze-like medina filled with tanneries, artisans, and spice markets. Overnight in Fes.

After breakfast, travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop at Ifrane, nicknamed “Little Switzerland,” and in the cedar forest of Azrou, where you may see Barbary monkeys. Continue through Midelt and the Ziz Valley, reaching the desert town of Merzouga by evening. Enjoy a camel ride across the dunes at sunset before spending the night in a luxury desert camp under the stars. Dinner and overnight in the Sahara.

Wake up early to witness the desert sunrise, then ride camels back to the village. After breakfast, visit Rissani Market, known for its traditional charm, before heading to Todra Gorges, a dramatic canyon popular with climbers. Continue to Dades Valley, where ancient kasbahs and red rock formations create stunning scenery. Dinner and overnight in Dades.

After breakfast, drive along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through Kelaat M’Gouna and Skoura Oasis. Visit Ouarzazate, home to famous film studios, and explore the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO site and filming location for many movies. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) and arrive in Marrakech by evening. Overnight in a riad.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Marrakech. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and Saadian Tombs, then stroll through the vibrant souks and the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where musicians, storytellers, and food stalls create a unique atmosphere. End of the tour.
